“Discover the greatest inventory of aged Scotch whisky in the world.”
Honored to be one of the few trusted retailers in the country to partner with Having tasted through much of this collection, I can attest to the fact that you won’t find anything else like this on the market. And what’s more, the pricing and value for what you’re getting is nearly unbeatable in the industry.
A few expressions from this stunning collection are available in the shop now. Reach out for more info.

continues their annual Legacy Series of Bomberger’s Declaration and Shenk’s Homestead. Both bottles pay homage to Michter’s past with a lineage traced to distilleries in Pennsylvania in the 1800’s.
Bomberger’s is known for the unique profile imparted by toasted Chinquapin oak; Shenk’s for toasted French oak. These 2024 editions also include a substantial amount of malted rye for layers of complexity.
On the shelf now, and not many to go around!

Our quick stop at during the Kentucky trip was remarkable. The food alone was worth the trip; but throw in some exceptional pours of bourbon, gorgeous views of their new state-of-the-art facility, and a private tour of their antique bottle collection, I was blown away. Can’t wait to go back, but more importantly: for their products to be available here in the state of WA soon!

The geeks at have done it again. This is a 1994 vintage, 28yr, single cask Cognac. Produced by Frapin and picked/bottled exclusively for PM Spirits. There are a ton of reasons why this is so impressive, you can either message about it or come in and nerd out about with me. Either way, insane to have this in the shop, and I don’t believe much of this came to the state. If you fancy yourself a Cognac connoisseur this isn’t to be missed.

Father’s Day Gift Guide 2024 No. 3 - Crest branded leather coasters (set of 4).
Dad’s new coasters are made locally here in Seattle by and feature the crest of his favorite local whisky shop. There’s nothing more satisfying than the soft thud of putting his rocks glass down on a well made coaster after a sip of his favorite dram.
We went through a TON of different samples and prototypes when looking for coasters to sell in the shop. The craftsmanship of these Hardmill coasters are unmatched. Believe me.

Father’s Day Gift Guide 2024 No. 2 - Crest Branded Clayton & Crume Glass Flask.
Flaskmanship is a dying art. Even one such as myself, with a staked interest in people carrying booze on their person at all times, does not condone staying strapped for every conceivable occasion. But when the perfect opportunity does arise, there’s nothing quite like pulling a flask from your pocket filled with the high quality spirit of your choice.
Dad’s new flask is produced by in Kentucky and made of glass, ensuring no tarnished metal taste contaminates his coveted whisky. The solid brass cap and leather liner ensure he’s in possession of the most stylish vessel at the soirée. His only problem will be who to share his precious whisky with once it catches peoples’ attention.

As a whiskey lover and a dad, I fancy myself supremely qualified to make gift recommendations for Father’s Day. Read below for the first installment of my Father’s Day gift guide 2024.
First recommendation is a spot in our newly formed American Whiskey Club 2.0! Our first American Whiskey Club was such a huge success that I had to cap its membership and start a second Club. The reason for this: barrel picks yield an unpredictable amount of bottles, so 150 members is a safe cap where I don’t risk not having enough bottles to cover each member.
As a Club Member, Dad can expect four bottles per year (one per quarter) of hand selected premium American whiskies. No membership fee, no commitment, you’re just paying the price of each bottle (price range of $60-$110 per bottle).
Stop by the shop and ask how you can get him signed up just in time for his big day!

A pilgrimage destination I had been dying to get to - stories of the exceptional pours available at the bar, world class dining, and the micro distillery family owned vibe all lived up to the hype. Unforgettable experience.

A distillery turns five years old and releases a 5yr single malt. Funny how that works out. Only six of these in the entire state and two of them came to McCallum & Sons. Funny how that works out too, I suppose.

Always one of my favorite limited releases of the year. The Barrel Strength Rye takes everything I love about the US*1 rye and amplifies it in an incredible way. Be in the lookout for this.

End of an era. Last night was the final private tasting event that Jerry ( ) and I would co-host. As he moves on to a new chapter in his life advancing his career, it’s bittersweet to think back on how our shared passion for this spirit - whiskey - brought together so many people and great memories. Cheers Jerry.
