2023 brings Joya de Nicaragua’s 55th anniversary and to mark the occasion, Nicaragua’s first cigar factory launches Cinco de Cinco, the latest edition to the ultra-premium Obras Maestras line.

Cinco de Cinco is made from ultra-vintage to***cos, including a Mexican San Andres wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers and binders in a soft-pressed format. It is a five out of five in profile and complexity; full-bodied and medium strength, with deep, rich, earthy flavors that offer hints of cocoa and dark chocolate. The cigar box shines bright in emerald green.

The CLE PCA Exclusive 2023 cigar is the first blend released by this must-have brand to include to***co from the company’s new farm, whose name and location are being kept secret. The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper that cloaks a premium binder and filler from the unnamed farm in South America. The H99 blend uses the aforementioned Connecticut corojo wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte binder and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua and Pennsylvania, the latter of which is the infamous Green River One Sucker, known for its strength and potent flavor. “The beautiful hybrid wrapper that graces H99 Liga Privada, combined with the elements of our wildly popular Flying Pig vitola makes this a true masterpiece,” said Jonathan Drew, president and co-founder of Drew Estate, in a press release....

The Arturo Fuente Rare Pink cigar brand was created to help raise breast cancer awareness, a project that is very dear to Liana Fuente who is in charge of brand development for Arturo Fuente cigar company, and she is the daughter of Carlos Fuente Jr. Proceeds from the purchase of each box will be donated to The American Cancer Society—Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The cigar features an Ecuadorian wrapper with a binder and filler composed of premium to***cos from Nicaragua and undisclosed origins. The ci**rs are handmade at the famed Tabacalera Fuente in the Dominican Republic.
