A new addition to Aviator Wine…Introducing Noughty…when you want to skip the Alcohol, but want the taste of a fabulous wine. A dry brut sparkling 100% Chardonnay grown on sandy and calcareous vineyards located in southern Spain, said to be the closest in taste, mouthfeel and aroma to an excellent French Champagne.

Alsace…a wine region with strong Germanic influences located in north-east of France.
Two Alsatian wines we highly recommend are from Domaine Zinck of Eguisheim, Alsace, France.

Their Portrait Riesling 2017 is dry, with flavors of tart apple, citrus and stone fruit, and a wonderful minerality.
Wine Spectator 90 Pts.

Their Portrait Gewürztraminer 2018 is a medium sweet wine, with hints of mandarin, peach, lychee, and tropical fruits, while being very warm and rich with the perfect hint of acidity.

Continuing California Wine Month…3 of our favorites are in stock…TILTH WINES…
2019 NAPPA VALLEY SAUVIGNON BLANC…stone fruit, honeysuckle, elderflower, lifted acidity, focused minerality, and a succulent mouthfeel that is a result of barrel age.
2018 RUTHERFORD CABERNET SAUVIGNON…fresh blackberries, blueberries, and currants, layered with to***co, tea leaves, and cocoa spice. Fine tannins and energized acidity lead to a lively mouthfeel with a long finish.
2019 CALIFORNIA OLD VINE ZINFANDEL…raspberries, cranberries, and blueberry pie jump out of the glass. The palate is rich with fruit and spice, supported by an uplifting acidity leading to a surprising freshness.

Today’s pick for California Wine Month is a Pinot Noir new to Aviator… ARIUS Pinot Noir 2019…from the central coast of CA, the San Luis Obispo County region in the Edna Valley…Lying within 5 miles of the Pacific ocean, the area is marked by a thick layer of morning fog that defines the unifying character of the area’s excellent, aromatic cool-climate wines.
ARIUS Pint Noir is well balanced and definitely worth trying…now available at Aviator.

GRGICH HILLS Estate Fumé Blanc is a perfect example of the exceptional Sauvignon Blancs being produced in California. This wine displays notes of fresh ripe citrus, apple and herbs. A delicious Sauvignon Blanc without the sometimes overbearing grapefruit flavor that often comes out of New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs.
