Giant walleye topside just outside the Deep Freeze and Taps and Tackle shack last night! The wind was ripping so we stepped inside for a quick measurement and picture. All 29” went back to fight another day. We have the shack available for rental. Get ahold of us if you’re looking to fish in the shack!

Another weekend and another limit of walleyes!

Fishing has been absolutely fantastic and the walleye action has been fast and furious! Carston had never been ice fishing and was treated to a day he will never forget. Flags were constant and these boys had their limit by 10 am. We even welcomed a few crappies to the pile, as the morning turned to afternoon.

Tip-ups beware, the Foolers are here!

There is nothing better than watching flags while ice fishing. Now, with the help of the Finicky Fooler, you can watch your flags then fight your fish on a rod and reel! These devices offer a variety of resistance settings which allow anglers to target multiple fish species with one simple device. The Fooler is made for open bail fishing, which allows the fish to free spool the line. Just grab the rod, close the bail and set the hook!

All of these fish were caught this weekend. If you’re wanting to get out and try a fooler for yourself, the bite is on and the time is now!

Tennesse stud alerts!

Kristine Fischer had a great day on our custom swimmin’ dawg this week! We connected with Kristine a few years back and insisted on sending her some of our custom baits, hoping they would produce some dandy TN fish. That came true yesterday when she sent us these photos of some beautiful fall muskies. Naturally, her bait got destroyed but we are shipping her some of our newest colors in hopes of continued success!

Cast and blast success!

We have had a few clients this week for our cast and blast adventure! We started the mornings watching the sunrise and shooting ducks in the marsh. It was beautiful weather but not great for hunting. We ended the evenings casting for musky and were able to land a few good ones!

The duck season just started and we have availability throughout the duck/musky season.
