At the Fitzgerald Freedom Ranch we help veterans and their families understand the challenges veterans face in civilian life and offer a new approach for meeting the needs of the military civilian. This is accomplished through a combination of access to the Fitzgerald Freedom Ranch, the community at the Ranch, and the availability of trauma releasing sessions with the option for recalibration of the military identity as discussed in the Fitzgerald Theory.

The whole idea is to help veterans be able to relax, heal, and play; then give them a place where they actually have the opportunity to do all of these things.

How The Event Will Go

We are turning this into one of our Sunday Funday events. We will have fun & games along with raffles specifically for veterans only! We will also have 50/50 raffles too!

We will also be having mini competitions between supporters like flippy cup, first to hit a bullseye and much more. Prizes will consist of free food and gifts / services we receive from other supporting local businesses.

Members of the Fitzgerald Freedom Ranch will be present & will also be joining to give a short talk about not just this charity but other Veteran charities in the area.

Our Goal

Fozzy’s goal is to help raise at least $5,000 through sponsorships and raffles to support local vets through The Fitzgerald Freedom Ranch. With the craziness going on in our world, most people don’t realize the sacrifice our troops make to keep this country safe and we want to show our love and support back.

“Being the first new distillery built in Lexington since prohibition, Town Branch Distillery is proud to revive the city’s distilling tradition with our signature high-malt mash bourbon. The city of Lexington, Kentucky was built on the banks of the town branch of Elkhorn Creek. Its waters provided power for early industry as well as limestone filtered water for distilling.”
