Seeing a lot of Shop Local stuff before the weekend floating around on FB...
We just wanted to remind everyone in the nicest way possible that many of our local businesses will be open this Friday for the Local Holiday Stroll and again on Saturday for Small business Saturday ( we, they, all of us would love for you to stop in ). Not sure about everyone but this Friday/Saturday is the biggest sales day(s) we record Post Labor day and the last substantial sales day we have until the end of May...in other words it's a very important couple of days for us and our Team.
We all know the saying "what you spend locally stays locally" and the truth is this saying is not untrue.
So maybe this weekend (if you can) swing by all of us during the stroll (2-6pm at any business with the lights on) stop in and grab a bunch of gift certs to local places for you and your friends, buy the $5 stocking stuffers or the cup of coffee from the business down the street.
Because the Real Truth is - Walmart doesn't pay for your kids dance classes..... Target doesn't kick in for weekly musical performances at our park & and Starbucks doesn't donate to our local food bank.
We can only build the community that we want from the inside out and that means supporting everyone along the way (however you are able). Remember, this is all just boomerang money anyway.. most of what we all spend here goes to supporting employees/families or honestly directly back to the community via new offerings, events, food drives, etc.
So...anyway enough of the sales pitch but if you can this Friday/weekend please swing by

Stop in for a taste during the Holiday Stroll!

Stop by Speculator Spirits on Friday, November 24th for our Speculator Chamber Holiday Stroll! They will be having a tasting on wine & spirits from 10AM - 6PM.

Be sure to stop by all our local businesses during the stroll to take advantage of all the deals and specials they will be having. We'll be highlighting all the specials all week long.
