I don’t say this because I want a gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

When I looked again, I saw a man with a measuring line in his hand. “Where are you going?” I asked. He replied, “I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”

Then the angel who was with me went to meet a second angel who was coming toward him. The other angel said, “Hurry, and say to that young man, ‘Jerusalem will someday be so full of people and livestock that there won’t be room enough for everyone! Many will live outside the city walls. Then I, myself, will be a protective wall of fire around Jerusalem, says the Lord. And I will be the glory inside the city!’”

When you look at this scripture, we see an issue that all of us have struggled with... The issue of measuring!

How many of us have lived our life-limiting God based on our own measurements and analysis? The reality is that God wants us to know that He is much greater than anything we have the human potential to calculate or measure.

When you fall into the measurement trap, no matter how "factual" it is, you will almost always leave no room for the supernatural. God is never going to fit in your measurements! Many people don't see God do the impossible because it doesn't fit in their measurements.

The enemy will often use the measurement trap to intimidate you. He'll get you to think, "Don't dream for more, don't believe for more, don't reach for more, don't hunger for more," and you question what God is capable of.

At some point, you have to ask God to help you be a limitation breaker. Put yourself in a place where you believe God in such a way that only He can do it. If it doesn't happen, at least you didn't limit Him. Don't ask your measurements for permission to believe God for the impossible!

If God is in it, there is no limit!

Most of you should know me pretty well. I no longer accept very many friends because I feel it’s not for me. And of late I’m not a fan of the platform. Almost every FB friend I have, I’ve known on some level, you are not just a number. But if you are still on my FB, it’s because we have some connection. I would love to see if we can still chat more than just likes... I decided to participate in an experience called “Meeting between Bowls of rice”. The idea is to see who reads a post without a photo. We are so consumed with technology that we forget the most important thing: good friendship. If no one is reading this message, it will be a short social experiment. But if you finish this till the end, I would love you to comment in ONE WORD about us. For example, a place, an object, a person, a moment in which you remember us. But suddenly, Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his advisers, “Didn’t we tie up three men and throw them into the furnace?

“Yes, Your Majesty, we certainly did,” they replied.

“Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!”

Then Nebuchadnezzar came as close as he could to the door of the flaming furnace and shouted: “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stepped out of the fire.

Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.”

His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”

When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.” Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside.

“Watch me,” he told them. “Follow my lead. When I get to the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do. When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, then from all around the camp blow yours and shout, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon.’”

So David asked the Lord again, and again the Lord replied, “Go down to Keilah, for I will help you conquer the Philistines.”

The word came to Jeremiah from the Lord after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to proclaim freedom for the slaves. Everyone was to free their Hebrew slaves, both male and female; no one was to hold a fellow Hebrew in bo***ge. So all the officials and people who entered into this covenant agreed that they would free their male and female slaves and no longer hold them in bo***ge. They agreed, and set them free. But afterward they changed their minds and took back the slaves they had freed and enslaved them again.
