Ah, yes. Joe’s favorite white wine. White Burgundy. Char-do-nnay made in France.

Saint-Veran is an appellation in Southern Burgundy Wines from there are made exclusively from chardonnay grapes. This wine is fermented in stainless steel—read: no oak. no vanilla. no butter—which allows the minerality and citrus notes to come through. More lemon? More orange? Try it and let us know what you think. In any case, we love it and want you to love it too!
The Domaine Damien Martin 2023 Saint-Veran is $27.99

Heidi chose the Wine of the Week this week!

It is the Valdelosfrailes Crianza from
This wine is 100% Tempranillo aged in oak barrels. Generally Tempranillo is medium to full bodied. Older vintages go with lamb and grilled meats, like a great burger. Younger bottles? Think tomato dishes and roasted veggies.
“I love this Spanish red. It is full of fruit and fig and cherry. I like to think of it as the Cabernet Sauvignon of Spain. Just more…Spanish.”

The 2021 Valdelosfrailes Crianza is $20.99

We are here from 11am to 8pm today.

It’s the Wine of the Week! Which we will just call WoW from this post on.
It’s the Invicta Xinomavro. Gesundheit! Kidding. Xinomavro (ksee-no-mav-ro) is a red grape grown in central/northern Greece and is considered the most important grape of the Naoussa region.
It is often referred to as the Greek Barolo. Which explains why Joe loves it. “The Invicta Xinomavro is like a really great nebbiolo but smoother. They’ve somehow taken out the tannins and kept all the flavor.
C’mon, this one is a no brainer.”
The 2019 Invicta Xinomavro is $26.99

Have a pink cocktail! It happens to be one of Joe’s favorite concoctions.
You’ll need: Jalapeño, cilantro, lime, Tequila Blanco and Pamplemousse (Grapefruit) liqueur. The amounts are sort of squishy. It’s to your taste. Here’s how:
Muddle the jalapeño, cilantro and lime in a glass.
Add your tequila, liqueur and a squeeze(ish) of lime. Give it a stir. (At this point you can either leave it or, you can strain the liquid into another glass.)
Add ice and stir again. Give it a try and adjust. Garnish with a lime slice and cilantro sprig. Or be creative. Enjoy!
The spirits shown here are Jules Theuriet Pamplemousse Liqueur at $31.99 and Casa Malka Tequila Blanco for $45.99.

We are open from 11am to 8pm today.

Michelle is our Wine of the Week “chooser” this week.
She went with Le Gamotin Cahors Malbec. The region of Cahors is east of Bordeaux. This Malbec is not as fruit forward as its Argentine cousin. It reflects the limestone-y place it’s grown (called Terroire in wine speak).
”Blueberries and cherries. Delicious and the price is right! I don’t need food for this wine. Just a glass.”
If you DID want to pair it with something, we’d suggest meats, stew, roasted veggies or like Michelle said, nothing.
The Gamotin Malbec is $15.99 a bottle

Your One-Stop Shop for Wine & Cheer.

At The Grape D'Vine Wine & Spirits, we taste wine & spirits all day so you don't have to. Nothing gets onto our shelves until it's passed our lips first. Our liver's may be screaming, but we disregard them to make sure we are bringing you the best wines for the money.

We specialize in wines & spirits that you've never heard of, that don't break the bank & a good amount of heavy hitters and high end wines & spirits that are always worth the extra buck or twelve.

We were started in 2002 by recovering chef Joe Printz out of a drastic need for a career change. Our love & curiosity for wine & its relationship to food allows our regulars to tell us what they are making and we will find the right beverage to pair with the dish.
