We’ve been waiting a long time for this folks....remember the movie that was being filmed in Somerset a couple years ago? Well here it is! Released today On Demand. They did some filming here at the store, so let’s hope those scenes made it in the movie! Check it out!

Good morning everyone! We sure miss all of you! No real updates on when the rebuild will start, but are going to rebuild! We are also asking everyone, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE STORE! There is nothing of value in the store, no money, no lottery tickets, and the building is shifting daily and any movement in the store could send the remaining roof crashing down on top of you. It is not safe! Thank you all and stay blessed!

Today was terrifying. If you aren’t a believer in God, go look at my store (that I was in with my co-worker Sarah Aguilar) and then come look into my eyes. God is real! God is Alive and oh so good! Thank you all so much for the calls, texts visits and messages today. The outpouring of love shown to my family and my girls at the store was a bit overwhelming, but so appreciated! Kathy Hogsten, you are an angel, thank you for feeding us, you are the best! I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to respond to everyone, but from the bottom of our hearts, thank you and we love you all so much. WE WILL BE BACK!!

Hey y’all! Hope you guys are surviving this lock down with good health and your sanity! There’s a lot going on in Somerset! We’re still serving up great sandwiches, subs, salads and pizza, but boy is it getting interesting outside! The construction has begun on the roundabout so please be careful if you’re in the area. Our lower entrance has been closed (from Rt 20) to start work on the new drainage so be careful, but we are open so come on in and let us serve you! Here’s a quick video of a little blasting they did today. They will be doing some more on Wednesday, so don’t be alarmed if you hear the sirens followed by the boom! Stay safe friends and family.

Hello Friends! We certainly pray this post finds you all in good health! While the Governor has declared the new stay home order, we remain an essential business and will remain open. We are working hard to keep your everyday needs stocked, our full deli is open for carry out (you can also call in for curbside delivery) and the pizza can be made to order for your hot and ready pick up. Please rest assured that we are taking every precaution to keep you as well as our employees safe, we are sanitizing our doors and cooler handles, gas pumps, coffee bar, countertops, even the ink pens to sign your credit card receipts, as well as social distancing, sorry, hugs are out until this is over, but know we love you all dearly! Give us a call and let us take the work out of breakfast, lunch or dinner prep! Stay well friends!

WE ARE NOT CLOSING!!! Ok, now that we’ve cleared that up...due to this pesky COVID 19 and the executive order that Gov Ralph Northam has going into effect at midnight tonight, we will not be able to offer up our cozy table #7 for our customers to dine in for the next 30 days. Our deli is open for business, so we would like to offer curb side service for anyone who would still love to place an order, but just isn’t comfortable coming inside, and if you’re not sick, come on in and chat with us while we make your food. Give us a call, 540-672-1693, place your order, pay with your credit or debit card, and we will bring your food out to you. Easy peasy! We would like to assure our customers that we are taking COVID 19 seriously here at the store. In addition to our regular cleaning/sanitizing routine, we have added the sanitizing of door handles, cooler door handles, the ink pens for credit card sales, our registers, credit card machines and picnic table. We run two shifts and we are sanitizing twice per shift. We do ask if you are sick in any way, please wait to visit when you’re feeling better, we must put the health of our “seasoned customers” first. Thank you, we are open for business!!
