Smithfield Station footbridge will start its facelift Friday, February 2nd. Unfortunately, this footbridge into the park will have to be closed for this process. We are so excited about this renovation as it is the most photographed entrance into the park. And we would like to thank T-Mobile for the generous grant that will make this renovation happen.

Update since my last post...the water has risen, trucks are making it through but i would not suggest lower cars to even try it.

The Cypress Creek Bridge at Smithfield Station is flooded but as you can see it is clearly passable. We are expecting some higher flooding tonight at high tide.

We do more than just wine! 🍹 🍻

Pagan River Wine Merchants

Pagan River Wine Merchants is a small fine wine and gourmet shop located in historic Smithfield on the river and conveniently on the boardwalk at Smithfield Station. The wine shop is dedicated to serving the community by providing unique wines and specialty gifts to their customers. The location on the marina allows visitors to Smithfield, access to an assortment of wines, craft beers, and specialty gifts to help commemorate their time here in this beautiful historic town.

Head in to the shop from the hotel lobby and enjoy great shopping, knowledgeable staff, and great keepsakes and snacks. The staff is there to help assist you pick out a wonderful bottle of wine for you to enjoy either at home with friends, on the back deck of the Smithfield Station or in the restaurant, or up in the comfort of your hotel room. They carry over 250 different bottles of wine and 100 different craft beers for you to select from and monthly wine tastings.

Guests may also purchase a bottle of wine from the shop, and enjoy it over at the Smithfield Station with lunch or dinner with no additional corkage fee added.
