stopped in for a visit! Here are a few new brews amongst today's delivery:

Mast Landing's collab with Vitamin Sea: Calling Shots New England Double IPA. 8% abv, big and juicy DIPA using Yakima Chief Hops DynaBoost. Big notes of tropical fruit, red berry, stone fruit, and grapefruit.

Mast Landing's Cookie Cutter: 6.5% abv Snickerdoodle stout! Notes of cinnamon and sugar meet chocolately sweetness.

Other Half's Double Riwaka Daydream: 8.5% abv Double Dry Hopped Imperial Oat Cream IPA. A huge amount of oats are combined with milk sugar and Riwaka hops give this notes of candied passionfruit and grapefruit with a soft, silky body.

Just over a week before Christmas and excited about this: Octomore! This heavily peated series of Islay Single Malt Scotches is matured for five years and bottled close to cask strength.

15.1: "The backbone of each Octomore series...distilled from 100% Scottish barley in a combination of bourbon barrels and re-charred ex-bourbon casks." It balances "smooth vanilla custard and sweet charred oak with heady peat smoke."

15.2: Matured in a combination of red wine, bourbon (American oak), and cognac casks. "Hints of nutmeg, toasted oak and caramel add smoothness to the palate, with the delicate floral character of Octomore coming to the fore."

15.3: Bruichladdich's second most heavily peated release, 100% Islay barley is used and matured in bourbon and Spanish Olosoro casks. "Formidable smoke is countered by ripe fruit."

The countdown to Christmas continues. This one is for the Irish Whiskey lovers.

Jameson 18 year: "Wonderfully mellow and smooth, a mouthful of complex flavors--toffee, spice, hints of wood and leather, gentle sherry nuttiness and vanilla."

Writers' Tears Red Head: Orange peel, dried fruits and sherry plums on the nose, with notes of nutty Oloroso, spicy raisins and creamy oak, and a long complex finish of orange.
