Friday April 26th is our OPENING weekend!
We've been busy receiving & stocking awesome NEW merchandise and added a some DELICIOUS new items to our menu too!
We've also stocked up on fishing gear for this weekend's Trout Opener. And they JUST stocked fish in Dinkey Creek for you!

Starting Thursday morning, 4-4-24, we'll be accepting calls for remaining Chalet Openings for 2024!
Please do NOT call before 8am on Thursday.
We can NOT respond on this page to openings before Thursday when pending reservations will be confirmed or opened up.
There is not a website showing dates so don't ask, and don't call before 8am on Thursday! 🤣

A couple quick picts of today’s weather at Dinkey Creek.
Most of the morning snow was melted by the rain later.
So happy to have this mountain moisture! 🏔️
And the road to Wishon is NOT open! But I hear the fishing at Courtright is off the hook! 🎣 🤣

Well, we got a good few inches of WET snow, then rain to soak it into the mountain.
We'll take it! 👍

Still aiming to make our opening by Saturday April 27th in time for the Trout Season Opener. 🎣

Dinkey Creek Campground is supposed to open Friday May 3rd. 👍

The snow is almost melted!
2 new loads of merchendise arrived today!
Looks like we’ll make our opening by Saturday April 27th in time for the Trout Season Opener. 🎣
After the 27th we’ll be open Friday-Sunday till further notice.
And NO, the road to Wishon is NOT open yet! 🤣
Dinkey Creek Campground is supposed to open Friday May 3rd. 👍

While it wasn't the "Blizzard" they predicted, it was great to see Dinkey Creek get some cherished snow! ❄️
To be honest, we're a little bit happy that we didn't get as much as we got last year! 🤣

Here is a little history of the Dinkey Creek area and the Pine Logging Mill that is walking distance from our store.
We ran this once, but we've had so many new "likes" & "followers" we hope they enjoy learning some history of the area. 🏔 🌲

Pine Logging the Early Days was filmed in 1937 by Elsie Grimmett as her husband, Robert Grimmett, built the Pine Logging sawmill at Dinkey Creek, California....

Hi 51 tomorrow then in the 60's, lows in the 40's.
Starting Wednesday Highs in the 30's, lows in the 20's and good chance of snow & rain for the next TEN DAYS! 👍

The Dinkey Creek Snowman is back!
We got our first decent snow that we hope will last with continued snowpack. ❄️
Next week will be warmer though.

We are opening the 2024 Reservations for our Chalets starting on Saturday, January 6th at 8am. Call 559-841-3435, AFTER 8am please!
Phones might be busy so be patient and keep calling. (But don't wait too long because our prime dates fill up fast).
Our target opening date is May 1st, weather permitting. 🏔🏕
BTW, We are holding our rates the same as last year to help our friends battle inflation. 👍

We do NOT take reservations for Dinkey Creek Campground nor Camp Fresno so don't call us about those! 🤣
We're looking forward to seeing all our friends and having a great 2024!

The dismantling of the historic Dinkey Creek Bridge has begun!

NO! We are NOT closed! We are open through Oct 28th. 👍
The weather is GREAT so come up, enjoy the mountains and grab one of our famous burgers or other good food!
And be sure and grab a picture of the Dinkey Creek bridge before they remove it!
For our hunter friends, we're seeing signs of deer grouping up before they move down the mountain.

Our Bighorn Ram has been located! He had quite an adventure!
Fall has settled on the mountain so we moved our tables inside by the fireplace for our dining guests. The weather is still wonderful. ⛺️
Hunting has been slow and only a couple hunters brought in their bucks for a FREE Bacon Cheeseburger! 🍔 Better step it up guys and girls!
Don't forget, our clearance sale is still going on and there are some great sales on most everything. Except our famous Bacon Cheeseburgers! 🤣

We are THRILLED to have found Simba ALIVE after her owners lost her in the Dinkey Creek campground two weeks ago!
Simba finally figured out to come to the Dinkey Creek Store & Grill for some GOOD grub! 🤣
Thankfully when our staff saw her she had a tag with her number.
Austin, the kitty’s owner, drove up and within 90 minutes they were reunited!
I can only imagine how scared she was at night in the forest with all those noises!
So happy for this happy ending! Just the latest of our pet rescues. 💖
