In addition to the great news that none of us have Covid and we can reopen tomorrow, there is something else I would like to add. Although the majority of the people who reached out to us did it in support, we did have a couple messages/comments where people felt that we put them and their families at danger because they had stopped by our shop the day before we closed. We apologize. Although we don’t have Covid, Covid (or any other virus) takes 2 to 14 days to show symptoms once you come in contact with it, and you are contagious before you even start showing symptoms. Unfortunately, unless you stay home or wrap yourself in a bubble, you can come in contact with Covid anywhere..even with people who don’t know they have it. As soon as we saw symptoms, we made the decision to close our shop without notice, something we normally wouldn’t do. We have also had plexiglass shields around all display cases and hand sanitizer available to customers for over a year now. We would never intentionally put our customers in danger just to make a dollar. And being a small business that supports our whole household, closing for three days is not an easy choice to make. We may be in business to make money, however, we have always truly cared about our customers. We are grateful to be back in business. Everyone stay healthy out there.
