After extensive efforts, it saddens us to announce our closure. We had exciting plans for summer ahead, including outdoor entertainment for families and children, several events, a fresh summer menu, but unfortunately circumstances intervened.

Although it’s disheartening to watch our new venture to conclude after just 2 years, we take pride in our accomplishments and are happy to report it was not due to lack of support. For those that know us personally, this will not deter our entrepreneurial spirit. With our OG business Once Upon A Plate Catering, an example, thriving for almost 9 years, we are committed to building ventures that stand the test of time.

We are grateful to have contributed to the burgeoning Prairie Creek Reservoir along side establishments like The Landing at Prairie Creek.

From our modest beginnings as a pop up in 2022 to this moment, the unwavering support has been invaluable. As one chapter closes, we eagerly anticipate new opportunities to continue making a positive impact on our community. Thank you for being part of our journey. It’s been an experience we cherish deeply.

We are making our famous homemade cinnnamon rolls tomorrow for a few clients… if you’d like some take and bake homemade cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting for Christmas morning, please message the page or text your name and order to 765-744-6069.

$35 a dozen or $21 for half dozen. They’ll be ready tomorrow after 3pm!

The halls are decked and we are ready for over 40 Christmas parties in December. We will keep you posted on when we are open to the public.

We have some frozen (homemade) pies available for purchase if you need them for the holidays.

The countdown is on for tomorrow! We’ve checked everything off the list and will be ready with a homemade buffet beginning at 11am!

We are updating our hours to be open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to see how it goes!

As mentioned in a previous post, once we are back up and running, the menu will change quite a bit as we try to rebuild what we had going before the fire. We are going to scale it back quite a bit, offer a daily special and a few other sandwiches/ fryer foods as we navigate through the staffing process again and the slower winter season on the water.

Our thoughts are currently offering the tenderloins on thursdays, keep the all you can eat fish on Friday (but also offer it for a special all day, not just after 5) and prime rib on Saturdays. Some of the other homemade specials that were a hit were lasagna, “hunter’s stew” chicken and and dumplings, meatloaf, potato soup, and goulash.

Big news…. We are going to host our Thanksgiving day buffet again this year! It’s been a whirlwind trying to get back open, but we know for sure this is happening! Working on the menu this weekend. We will be open 11am to 6pm! Stay tuned!

We are closer to getting opened back up. You can still book your Christmas parties in our dining room…. We just cannot be open to the public yet. We are also taking Thanksgiving catering reservations and Thanksgiving meal orders.

When we do open back up, we will have to pivot our business model and menu slightly, but we promise to deliver great food and service as always!

Whoever decided a donut was a good idea in our parking lot and throw rocks all over our furniture, smile, you’re on camera and so are your license plates. 😁 unbelievable! Out of business nearly a month and someone decides to do this….

We miss you all so much! Unfortunately we are still
closed and still making equipment repairs to be able to resume normal business hours. Once one thing is fixed, something else goes wrong and we are held up in insurance limbo. We have been working closely with all agencies involved to make sure we are in compliance with them, but most of all safe for you, to return. One of the main coolers is currently holding at 60 degrees, which is not safe for food storage. We hope you’ll support us this winter, it’s going to be a long road to get back on our feet!

Just a reminder we are still closed at this time, so no all you can eat fish tonight, no prime tomorrow and no buffet on Sunday. We will update you as soon as we are cleared by all agencies to reopen safely.

A heartfelt Thank you to everyone for your concern today! We had an electrical fire/incident in the bar area of the dining room and had to abruptly close and evacuate.

First of all, thank you to staff to getting everyone evacuated quickly. JeanAnne and Jennifer got our guests out safely and timely. Another thank you to Dustin and the parks department for being involved and extremely responsive.

A bigger thank you to the Liberty Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department for getting here so fast and your thorough assessment of our building. We will be closed until proper repairs and safety measures are complete. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes, we will keep you updated as we work with the local agencies involved in opening back up. Thank you for your ongoing support as we navigate through it. We can’t wait to serve you again!

We are currently in experiencing some electrical
Emergencies and have to evacuate the building while it is being inspected for safety. We will update you as soon as we can but closed at this time until further notice.

We are going to skip prime rib dinner tonight since everyone is still out of town. Instead, our special is homemade chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes! It’s $13
