Election distraction: Magnums are coming!

Magnums’ mystique may lie in the fact that they are rare. Growers, if they make them at all, will produce maybe only 50-100 annually. We are fortunate to secure more than our fair share of these big bottles, but still, they sell out every year. Now you can secure your own!

After all day on the trail, sometimes you really want a glass of bubbles. However, hiking uphill with a full bottle of wine in your pack, along with your other gear, necessary water, food etc is too heavy. What a conundrum!

Bryan and Abby are exploring the versatility of chardonnay in beautiful Napa Valley. On recommendation of trusted friends, they stopped for a tasting and boy, did they deliver.

Matt and Audra are doing some amazing things in the Sierra Foothills, making dry farmed wines the old school way. Their whites are as good as the best in Burgundy and their semillon is especially incredible in its ability to stand up to some real stars.✨

This summer, we’re sipping rosé Champagne with one of our favorite recipes: the sweet and savory watermelon feta salad from chef Gaby Dalkin of . Not only is this no-cook stunner the perfect refreshing treat for all our picnics and patio hangs, it comes together lickety-split and feeds a sun-loving crowd.

Pair it with L’R du Temps Rosé from our talented friend . Fruit-forward with notes of red currant and fresh berries, these dry, petal-pink bubbles are mouthwateringly delicious all on their own or with something juicy and fresh from the farmers market.

Welcome to fatcork, we’re delighted to have you! Our motto here is “Celebrate Every Day.” We believe that you don’t need to wait for a special occasion, but you can create one by popping a bottle.

We are an importer and distributor of “grower Champagne” — bubbles made by producers in the Champagne region of France who grow their own grapes. Farmer fizz, if you will. Our goal is to celebrate every day and we help our customers do just that.

We work with small, family run Champagne houses who create bubbles that reflect their distinct vineyards and style. These producers we work with have passed their craft down from generation to generation—they’re true masters.

Our personal relationship with our growers allows us to hand select our cuvees, some of which are exclusive to fatcork. All of our Champagne is picked up from the vigneron’s caves in France and shipped, temperature controlled, to our cave in Seattle.
