Two lovely local Ladies seized an opportunity to keep a niche small liquor store alive and support the surrounding community.
February 1st, 2018, Ayena & Shawnie were given keys to a new opportunity to take over management of a neighborhood favorite liquor store. After a couple bumps in the road, they persevered and on May 2nd, 2018 they took ownership of the already well established University Liquor Store.
The original owner’s philosophy is, when customers hear about something exotic they might like, “they don’t have to dream about it. They can get it.” And, the new dynamic-duo owners value & uphold this philosophy. They are also all about community. However, the fact that these women are born and raised locally makes their desire to stay and serve the community even stronger.
