Yesterday’s community giveback cookout was a SUCCESS! We are so grateful to be able to give back to our community and get a chance to feed our everyday customers! We are also thankful for everyone that showed up and helped on the grills (of course after Mama Sam made everyone wash their hands and put on gloves). We grilled over 600 hot dogs, 360+ hamburgers, and 160lbs of chicken wings, and we’re happy that it was all distributed by the end of our event. We’re hoping to continue our annual giveback as a continued THANK YOU to our community!

Also, the six raffle winners will be contacted directly to claim their grocery/gas prizes!

Hello to all of our LDSS families and friends. We hope that all of you are safe and beginning the recovery process after Helene. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to all of those affected by this storm and its aftermath.

Yes! We are still having the Buddy Walk this Saturday, October 5! We look forward to sharing this joyous celebration with all of you!
I wanted to send an update on a change in online registration.

ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL END ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, AT 10 AM.

Registration will still be available at the walk beginning at 8:30 AM. We thank you for your understanding during these difficult circumstances.

We had the honor of giving back to our community today following the annual Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk! We served over 250 hamburgers, 300+ wings, 350 hotdogs along with beverages to over 500 people. We are forever grateful for our community and the ability to give back to you all and to the Down Syndrome Society!
