It’s time to EXPAND our Bookfair!! Our friends over at Hugger Mugger Brewing () have invited us back for another round of Grown Up Bookfair shenanigans! This time we’ll be joining some other local book vendors and sharing the love.

This event is always a good time and will take place at Hugger Mugger on Wicker Street in Downtown Sanford - just around the corner from our store! (Pssst…. You could walk there!)

Our store is pretty quiet and cozy already but we decided that some folks need that dedicated time and space to relax and read. So! We’re adding a Silent Book Club to the mix!

Every Second Tuesday starting Jan 14th at 6pm we will change the music to a mellow station and make sure the volume is low. We’ll post signs on the doors to let folks know that for at least 2 hours we ask them to keep voices down. This will allow for our easily distracted, overstimulated, or just looking for a quiet place to read friends to have a place they can relax in.

A Book Club for Readers by Readers. Bring your own book for this one! Assign yourself a book every month, pick a book based on your mood, make a goal to read what you own - Whatever you want! We'll spend some dedicated time reading and chatting about our favorite books during this club. This one is for the social book butterfly who just wants to know what everyone else is reading and loving right now.

The great thing about having a brick and mortar store is that we can host all sorts of book clubs now 😉😎. INTRODUCING: Saturday Morning Book Club! This one will meet every Second Saturday in the month at 10:00am here at the store. To get us started, January's book is a free for all - read whatever you want and come prepared to chat with folks on January 11th. A new book for the whole group to read will be selected during the meet-up.

Surprise! We're adding a second night to our Fantasy Book Club! This club has been super popular so we've decided to expand it to two nights. You can come to one or the other, or even both if you like. We'll read the same book and move voting to an online format. The rest is still the same: Read the book for the month, and come prepared to chat with fellow readers! We'll meet every Third Monday and Thursday here at the store!
