Looking for a light red with zip and elegance? Look no further than this Nero di Lupo. It has bright bramble and pomegranate fruit with light herbal undertones and black-rock minerality. So quaffable but not silly, this low-abv is incredibly versatile and just plain delicious. 🍷👍😘

This past week’s newsletter was chock-a-block with amazing unicorns, including this 1999 Riesling Kabinett Trocken.
➡️ when you see a prädikat designation (I.e. kabinett, auslese) WITH “trocken” that means the wine had a higher must weight but was vinified dry. (There can still be some sugar, tbh, but you’re unlikely to notice it!)
Anyway, this wine has it all - finesse, development, structure, energy. (🤤Is there any left?!)
⚡️We also featured a back vintage Piedmontese Fresia, sub-$50 grower Champagne, and more.

5-7pm TODAY Thursday, October 3 — Hurricane Helene has been disastrous for many throughout the southeastern US. To support hurricane relief and recovery, we’re doing a surprise in-store tasting featuring Pleb wines, an Asheville, NC-based urban winery that has been devastated by the hurricane. We’ll be showing their wines and collecting donations to their community rebuilding effort, 5-7pm on Thursday, October 3. Come on by.
