A beautiful 2019 Chardonnay from our Cortada Alta Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands.
There are aromas of nutmeg, pineapple, lilac, Meyer lemon zest, crème brûlée and chamomile. On the palate, you'll find flavors of charred pineapple, Madagascar vanilla and a rich impression. The long finish is framed with French oak and moderate acidity.

This special barrel selection of predominantly Dijon clones.

It greets you with an opaque, dark color, and a complex nose of mountain cranberries, anise, cherry blossoms, molasses and subtle, dried rosemary. For the palate, you'll a black raspberry fruit core is framed by robust and textured tannins. Balanced acidity accented by seasoned French oak and fresh coconut. A dense mouthfeel is rounded out by delicate vanilla on the incredibly long finish.

Doesn't the inviting crisp and warm weather (yes both...it's really a thing) make you want to pop open a bottle of chardonnay on the patio? The Mansfield-Dunne 2018 Cortada Alta Vineyard Chardonnay is our second vintage. It opens with a rich and complex nose of grilled lemon, ripe apples, fresh grapefruit, toasted almonds alongside spicy nutmeg and ginger.

Its Santa Lucia Highlands elevation heritage shows through with crisp stone fruits that reflect Cortada Alta’s growing season. You'll find notes of ripe pineapple, grapefruit zest, and lemon curd that all transition seamlessly to a long, dense finish.

Not your everyday Pinot Noir. The 2018 Cortada Alta Dijon Clones Pinot Noir is a special barrel selection. Its predominant Dijon clones shows an opaque, dark color, and a complex nose of mountain cranberries, anise, cherry blossoms, molasses and subtle, dried rosemary. The 2018 Cortada Alta Pinot Noir is perfect for your favorite wine glass. This is the third year of our Pinot Noir from the Cortada Alta Vineyard. It continues to show density and intensity, expanding the gift of the Santa Lucia Highlands. Dark and brilliant purple tone remains opaque to the rim, opening up with anise, fennel, holiday baking spice, cedar, wild berries, plums and vanilla bean. Notes of Earl Grey tea and blackberry, framed by a structure of moderate tannins, leading into a lengthy and complex finish define the palate.
