The number of cups of beer in a keg depends on the size of the keg. Here are some common keg sizes and how many 12 oz beers they can hold:
Half barrel keg: Also known as a full-size keg, this is the most common type of keg and can hold around 165 12 oz beers. It's about 23 in tall and 16 in in diameter, and weighs around 160 lbs when full.
Quarter barrel keg: Also known as a pony keg or tall quarter keg, this keg comes in two varieties. One is half the width of a half barrel but the same height, and the other is half the height but the same width. Either way, this keg holds around 82 12 oz beers.
Sixth barrel keg: Also known as a sixtel, this keg holds around 55 12 oz beers.

Spice up the holiday season with this new delicious mezcal cocktail. ☃️🎄

“Smokey Eggnog Espresso Martini”
- 1 part Codigo 1530 Artesanal Mezcal
- 1 part Kahlua
- 1 part Espresso or Cold Brew
- 3–4 parts Eggnog
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until frothy and well chilled. Strain into a glass and top with cinnamon or nutmeg, coffee beans, and a gingerbread cookie.
*This recipe could also be prepared the same way and served on the rocks.
