Buffalo Chip Spirits™ was formed in Nov. 2019. They partnered with Rod “Woody” Woodruff, the owner of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip (the “Best Party Anywhere”). The Sturgis bike rally is the largest biker event in the world. It is held every August in the black hills of South Dakota. Time, and the distiller’s skills have worked their magic. Three ingredients - water, malted barley, and yeast - have come together to create something new, crafted on The Clydeside Stobcross, the road where our journey began.

Stobcross is a marriage of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry barrels - predominantly ex-bourbon. First fill barrels used, American Oak for bourbon and European oak for the sherry-oloroso butts.

This Clydeside Single Malt Whisky is produced using clear water from Loch Katrine, 100% Scottish barley and then matured in the finest Oak casks.

We're pleased to introduce BCS Gray Label 16 Yr Seagrass, the newest release in our Gray Label portfolio. We knew we had something special with the launch of Barrell Seagrass last year. This edition is rooted in the profile of Barrell Seagrass, but at a level only achievable with older and higher proof whiskeys. The foundation of BCS Gray Label Seagrass began with two groups of 16-year-old 100% Canadian Rye barrels - one with bright citrus and crisp green apple notes and the other with earthy spearmint notes. A portion of the first group was finished in Apricot Brandy casks, a portion of the second group was finished in Martinique rhum barrels, and a blend of the first and second groups was finished in Malmsey Madeira barrels. When each set of secondary maturation flavors peaked, those casks were pulled and slowly married into the final blend.
