We are super excited to announce that we have over 30 Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve and Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottles to reward our Hazmat Members with this year. Since VIP Access started in July 2024, we understand customers are still wondering about our program, and we just wanted to provide some data. In the 6 VIP Access Events of 2024, we rewarded over 300 allocations, and 74% of Hazmat Members won at least 1 Allocation in the Unicorn or Rare Tier. Our first Tasting Event is tomorrow, January 15 from 4PM-6PM! Yes, you will be able to try the products in our store for the very first time and going forward!

Join us and taste Limestone Farms Private Stock and their other unique offerings. We only have a few bottles left of Private Stock to get signed by the Master Distiller, Darin Dillow. You can still order today, and we will get it signed. If you are shipping, please send us an email if you want it signed.

Please do NOT park in the parking spots directly in front of the store. We have side parking and other street parking options. Our store has very limited space so please be patient as you wait for a signed bottle or tasting. Consider arriving later into the event to ensure a better experience if you wish to talk to the Master Distiller.

Join us for our very first in-store tasting and launch of their newest release, Bloodline Heritage! Sample Limestone Heritage’s great whiskey and meet Master Distiller, Darin Dillow. You can also get your bottle signed during the event!

If you wish to guarantee a signed bottle, we recommend pre-ordering a Limestone bottle, as we will have limited quantities of each bottle available in-store at the time of this event. You cannot bring your own bottle to get signed. Check out their full lineup on our website!

Come anytime between 4-6PM. We recommend parking on the street or our side parking. Please do not park in the front parking spots as these are reserved for convenience customers. See you there!

4PM DROP: OPEN TO EVERYONE ONLINE! IT WILL GO QUICK SINCE WE DON’T HAVE MANY LEFT! If you are a Whiskey Club Member and want a backup, please respond to our Whiskey Club email before the drop. First come, first serve.

We only have a couple bottles left of our Green River Store Pick after it was selected for our Q4 Whiskey Club bottle. We blind tasted through 7 different barrels from Green River from varying proofs (118.9-129.8pf), and we picked our standout barrel at 122.9pf (bottled at 124.6pf). In the back half of this year, we have tasted through more than 30 barrels now, including the highly sought after Found North. Notably, it was also much better than the regular Green River Full Proof, which has been receiving endless praise this year for its quality and price point.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Fresh peanut and peanut brittle with apple spice and vanilla.

Palate: Honey, caramel, and soft oak with notes of pear, sunflower seeds, and baking spices

Finish: Medium richness with roasted peanuts and a Red Hots cinnamon candy to finish

Their Story: Founded in 1885, Owensboro-based Green River is the 10th oldest distillery licensed in Kentucky. Reintroduced and purchased by Bardstown Bourbon Co. in 2022, Green River is distilled and bottled on the same hallowed grounds as it was well over a century ago, all in a beautiful reimagined package that evokes the aesthetic, heritage, and storied history of this authentic and fascinating brand. Their single barrel bourbon is a true rye-forward Kentucky bourbon with a remarkable flavor profile. Every single barrel will be a minimum of five years old and presented at cask strength.

Our 1st Hazmat Store Pick was sold out in less than 4 hours! It’s coming in at 146 proof from a ghost craft distillery, so it’s a one of kind whiskey that we are excited to share with you!

This is a bold, oak forward whiskey that our Barrel Selection Team selected from over 28 barrels in blind tastings over the last couple of months.

It will be ready for pickup in the next couple of days!

Meet the Co-Founder of Lost Lantern! Nora stopped by the store this week and taught us more about the brand and their great whiskies. This was an Exclusive Event for our VIP and Whiskey Club Members. This was our first VIP Exclusive Event, and we plan on having more of these exciting events. Our first VIP Allocation Event will occur before the end of this month! Unwind Bottle Shop x Rare Character The cofounder of Rare Character, Pete Nevenglosky, stopped by and helped us pick two incredible barrels. RIO is distilled in Indiana for 8 years and coming in around 115pf. KOA is a new lineup for the brand that has not been released yet, so we are excited to have this come to the store. It is distilled in Kentucky for 8 years and around 130pf. They will be helping us design original artwork for the bottles, and our wax tops will be metallic copper and pastel orange.
