TL;DR Sunday May 19 around 3pm Somm Ci**rs BDX Robusto cigar pairing with our Cigar Pointe x Thirsty Pups Brewing beer collaboration “Figure it Out” brown ale.
The longer version: The gang at Thirsty Pups brought up doing a beer collaboration with me and my business, of course I was down! I picked the Somm BDX Robusto as the cigar I wanted them to build the beer around essentially. I wanted something easy to drink, lower ABV, but also flavorful enough to stand up to the cigar. I think the beer came out perfect it is a perfect pairing for the cigar both flavors pop nothing overpowers either. Our brown ale was made with Maris Otter, pale chocolate malt, figs and cinnamon. Try and come on out this Sunday and support a couple awesome shops, I’ll be hanging out myself, I’ll have plenty of ci**rs, cutters lighters and some Cigar Pointe stickers. See ya Sunday!
