Again, not long before what has become the most recognizable and one of the most sought after trophies in backgammon anywhere will find a home with another winner.

The Malcolm Davis Longhorn Masters Classic will be a featured event at the 2025 Texas Backgammon Championships.

In 2025 the champion will receive, in addition to the beautiful bronze longhorn figurine trophy, among the largest prize pool and side pool payouts in the States, and a stunning PRIMO board featuring longhorn embossed leather.

The list of Longhorn winners is truly a Who's Who of backgammon. In order Arkadiy Tsinis, Alfred Mamlet, Michy, Ed O'Laughlin, Mochy, Steve Sax, Bob Glass, Victor Ashkenazi, Roberto Litzenberger, Jonah Seewald, Dana Nazarian, and John O'Hagan have claimed a Longhorn. A big day for Tara's birthday. She received her new iPhone 16 Pro Max and got to spend a bunch of time setting it up and playing with it. Also, we received some additional credit card awards and are now on the very cusp of making Premiere Platinum status on United Airlines next year -- we'll make it easily. Many nice accompanying perks with that. Some openings on the 2025 calendar so all of you directors and organizers get with us for the best in professional streaming/commentary services.
