No charge, no reservation, just wine and 'joie de vivre' at Salem Wine Imports this coming Saturday afternoon.

As are most all of our selections at SWI we choose our sparkling wine from small individual farmers, winemakers and families who don’t need corporate guidance or advice. For generations these “owner growers” have perfected their family style. They don’t need nor want corporate guidance of suggestions, it is their land, their family reputation that drives them and we think the results are stellar.

Happy Thanksgiving Week! We are happy to report that 'Le nouveau est arrivé!' in time for Turkey Day and this year we have two great options to choose from - both tasting great and fresh as morning dew in their individual styles, both light and bright with fresh strawberries and roses abounding on the nose and palate.
These premium 'Village' grade Beaujolais Nouveau beauties are available for tasting every day this week through Wednesday - the perfect choice for your Thanksgiving meal. Pricing at $24 and $17 (2 for $20) for the Dom Dupeuble and Dom des Nugues, respectively.

We also have a broad selection of wines brought in for Thanksgiving and are happy to help you in choosing the best sparkling, reds, whites, and desserts for your holiday meal.

We extend our gratitude to all those attending our holiday tasting at Salem Wine. Great day yesterday with our pre holiday sampling of wines from around the world. If you missed this one, stay tuned as a holiday sampling of sparkling wine forthcoming while Beaujolais Nouveau, which we initially thought would be delayed until post thanksgiving, will be here BEFORE THANKSGIVING. A REASON TO GIVE THANKS ALL BY ITSELF.

Hey all - we are having some regular fun convening, critiquing and communing at Salem Wine Imports Book Club which meets the first Monday of each month. We meet at 6:30pm ($10pp includes wine and snacks). PM or call the shop if interested.
