A note to our customers and community:
Wow, what a storm! With power restored, we are open for regular business! We hope all of you are safe and faring well during these unprecedented times for our community.
Things we would like for you to know and keep in mind as we reopen:
While we are open for regular business, we are still without internet. This means that our phones are currently not operating, and our email responses will be coming through as we have access to hotspots on our phones. As you all know, signal out here comes and goes, so we will do our best to reply in a timely manner.
We were able to keep all orders for fresh salmon on ice, and they are ready for pick-up. Please note that we made the decision to freeze all the orders as soon as the power came back to ensure food safety standards, so your orders will be frozen. If you no longer want your order, please let us know. With many still without power in the community, we fully understand.
Unfortunately, other than the salmon and filets, as well as a few other frozen items, we lost the majority of our refrigerated and frozen food. We do have some bread and crackers available. All of our food will be available on a first come, first served basis. We will not be able to hold orders for anything other than the preordered salmon. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We will be canceling our First Friday tasting for the month of October. This is due to supply chain and staffing issues. We look forward to you joining us for our upcoming holiday tastings! (Stay tuned for more information on those!)
We want to remain as transparent with our community as possible. With that being said, please be patient with us as we rebuild our inventory over the next few weeks. Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest days of the week, and we heavily rely on those days for income to restock the store. Losing those sales last week, as well as the thousands of dollars lost in food product, the rebuild of our inventory will not happen overnight. Between the loss of sales and hiccups in the supply chain, it will likely take us a couple of weeks to get fully back on track and restocked.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate this unprecedented time for our store. As always, we are here for our community and are happy to help and answer any questions to the best of our abilities. Please feel free to reach out via email, or to reach out to any of us on our cell phones. As stated previously, signal is very spotty at the store, so if you’re able to text, that would be the best way to reach out currently.
Laura will be the best point of contact today, Monday, September 30th and throughout the rest of the week until our internet is restored. Her mobile number is 864-633-4102.
Derek will be available after 2pm today and throughout the rest of the week. His mobile number is 864-723-1096.
Brandon has a private event today for Appellation Wine. We request that you only reach out to him if you cannot get ahold of Laura or Derek. His number is 864-367-3879.
From our family to yours, thank you for your support, patience and understanding. We will continue to give updates as we have them. Everyone stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Brandon, Derek, Laura and
the rest of the Wine Emporium Staff.
