Jessica McIntosh from Advintage Distributing will be with us this Friday to taste through 4 different varietals from South Carolina native, Winemaker Jamey Whetstone! We will be tasting wines from his Noah River and Timeplace portfolios. Come join us for this free, drop by event from 3-6pm! 🍷

"Jamey Whetstone moved to Napa Valley from his home in South Carolina in 1996. Simply captivated by the community, lifestyle and culture of wine country, he found himself quickly growing roots. By 1998, he had begun his winemaking education at Turley Wine Cellars where he would remain in his apprenticeship until 2005. During that time, he spent a summer sabbatical working for the Seysses Family at Domaine Dujac in Morey-Saint-Denis and laid the groundwork for Whetstone Wine Cellars in 2002."

We treasure spending time with our most precious loved ones on Valentine's Day, but you know what we don't like: the crowds and costs of going out to dinner on a holiday! In that spirit, we created a package that will allow you to have a romantic dinner at home for a much lower cost and with nearly zero hassle (you do have to cook, but that can be fun too!)

Your Package will include:

One (1) Half Bottle (375ml) of Ruffino Prosecco
One (1) Bottle of Red Wine (or Chardonnay): You Choose between Bonanza Cabernet, Conundrum Red Blend, Sea Sun Pinot Noir, or Sea Sun Chardonnay
Two (2) 6 oz Buckhead Filet Mignon
Two (2) Crab Cakes: You Choose Charleston or Maryland style
Two (2) Slices of Friends Cream Pie: You choose Chocolate or Coconut

Based on the information we have at the time, we have decided to open late tomorrow, Saturday, January 11th. We are hoping for 12pm, but that is subject to change as more weather comes through in the next few hours and road conditions are updated. First Friday Tasting at Wine Emporium with Kevin Parks, featuring wines from Radley & Finch!

These South African wines are a great bang for your buck! Come join us for this free, drop by event from 3-6pm! 🍷

"Radley & Finch is a range of varietal wines made by Thinus Kruger and Pascal Schildt. The name was inspired from the famous book: To Kill a Mockingbird, but unlike the serious nature of the book, these wines aim to reflect a typical and light-hearted style of wine true to the most enjoyed grape varieties originating in South Africa. The motto: Optimism, beats the pants off pessimism. We want these wines to be an honest path for wine drinkers to delve into the special world of premium South African wines over time."

The Fableist is a collaboration between winemakers Curt Schalchlin and Andrew Jones. Each bottle has been artfully designed and inspired by one of Aesop’s many fables.
