Solo Vino Wines Solo Vino is an independent wine shop located in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Our inventory is always changing to keep up with the fast moving world of wine. Today, our shop inventory consists of about 95% imports and 5% domestic producers. We like to be the voice of the smaller, artisan vineyards that often times goes unheard. In the last five years we have developed a passion for wines from the Iberian Peninsula, over 50% of our sales annually are wines from this region.

Whether you’re looking for a small, growers Champagne or your favorite Cabernet from Napa. Let us know, if it’s not in the shop we would love to special order it.

Rosé days are on their way ☀️ and we are excited to announce our annual rosé get together: Rosé Extravaganza, presented with Twin Cities Wine Education!

This year the event will take place at the spacious Campus Club at the University of Minnesota on Friday, May 16th from 6-8pm.

Join us for music, food, the pink parade, and dozens of the top rosés being poured by the best in the business. 🍷

Brandt from Tradition wines will be pouring a selection of anything but traditional wines!

Here’s the lineup:
A naturally pettilent sparkling wine from California, “Salad Days” 🥗
The Jean Marc Gilet sparkling Vouvray from France ✨

Two from the Forlorn Hope winery in Cali, the Queen of the Sierra red blend and Unfiltered Amber (Orange)

And the “Bacalao” from Teutonic winery, also California. It’s a carbonic red and made from Tannat.

It’s a rosey/sparkley day at the shop for Valentine’s Day 💝 Sean LaBonty will be in pouring wine from his portfolio.
Here’s the lineup:
Anteche is a sparkling crement from the Loire valley
Feray is a pet-nat (naturally pettilent or just barely sparkling) also from the Loire valley, also rose, made of Chenin Blanc.
Corteaura is a Franciacorta, a sparkling wine from north Italy made exactly as Champagne is made.
Then we have two reds;
The Haut Rion Bordeaux rouge and the Maupes Chinon rouge (made of Cabernet Franc , again from France’s Loire Valley)
