Solo Vino Wines Solo Vino is an independent wine shop located in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Our inventory is always changing to keep up with the fast moving world of wine. Today, our shop inventory consists of about 95% imports and 5% domestic producers. We like to be the voice of the smaller, artisan vineyards that often times goes unheard. In the last five years we have developed a passion for wines from the Iberian Peninsula, over 50% of our sales annually are wines from this region.

Whether you’re looking for a small, growers Champagne or your favorite Cabernet from Napa. Let us know, if it’s not in the shop we would love to special order it.

To kick things off, a Vermentino Toscano, bright and zippy like a breath of Spring (we can use that after the last few days 🥶). Then a Tohu Sauvignon blanc, a Māori owned and operated winery in NZ

In the middle a Brut Nature sparkling wine from Argentine producer Piattelli. Dry with good fruit.

Two wines from Gehricke vineyards in Sonoma: A Pinot noir and a Zinfandel. Both big b***d and mouth filling but balanced not wildly extracted or woody.

Mantinia Moscofilero , a Greek white from a premium Greek varietal.
Birichino Malvasia, a perfumed, seductive white from California.
The Left Coast white Pinot Noir, sensuous full bodied Oregonian white (but is it? it’s Pinot Noir!).
Alois Aglianico, a red from Rome and its environs
and the Klinkerbrick old vine Zinfandel.

Our lineup includes four varietals, four countries, something new or unusual; a dry
tokaji from Hungary, a Gewurztraminer from Germany, a Cru Beaujolais (Cote de Brouilly) from France and a mostly Bobal red blend from Spain.
