"Chinon deserves a LOT more attention than it gets.

Cab Franc can be a wild beast, burly and bold to the degree you need to blend it in small percentages in order for it to 'play nice'.

Planted in the Loire Valley, however, the cool climate tames it to be a gentle giant. It’s a phenomenal selection for Autumn in Minnesota, and very versatile in food pairing. It will complement most Thanksgiving dishes; turkey, stuffing, potatoes, your aunt’s casserole…

Now that it’s cool enough to embrace reds again, I encourage everyone to explore Chinon! Our Baudry Dutour 'Amaranthe' Chinon is the best value in Minnesota."
