Happy Beaujolais Nouveau Day! Fresh out of the box, and available for you!! Released every year on the third Thursday of November, this bright, fresh wine offers the first taste of the field. Celebrated every year in Beaujolais, historically, the wines would be put into barrels and tossed into the river to be delivered around the area.

In 1972, Minneapolis was the second city in the US to import Beaujolais Nouveau, with New York City being the first. Sales of the wine are prohibited until 12:01 AM on Beaujolais Nouveau Day.

Gaja is one of the best-known wine producers in all of Italy. Originally founded in 1859 in Barbaresco, Gaja has since expanded throughout Piedmont and Tuscany. CEO and fifth-generation Owner, Jesús oversees all operations for the Valdemar Family, including Bodegas Valdemar, the original family winery in Rioja, Spain. After years of looking for opportunities to grow the family business, he decided to build a new winery in Walla Walla! Join us as we taste 6 of their wines and enjoy charcuterie pairings.

Our Annual Spring Grand Tasting will be held on Saturday, October 12th, from 12pm-2pm. It will feature an array of the finest wine distributors in the Twin Cities pouring samples of wines selected especially for the occasion (At the Spring Grand Tasting we had 12 distributors in attendance, featuring at least 5 wines each!).
