The POS Jack Sherwyn at it again…Just a few weeks after passing the counterfeit $100 bill, he’s back at it. This time, despite already being trespassed, he decided to show up again and steal. St. Johnsbury Police are on it—let’s hope the court system does what it needs to when the time comes. And interestingly, the only thing he actually paid for was baking soda. 🤔 Anyone have any guesses about what he’s doing with that?Stay alert, folks!#StJCrimeWatch #SupportLocalBusinesses #EnoughIsEnough
⚠️ ALERT: COUNTERFEIT $100 BILLS IN CIRCULATION ⚠️
We want to alert our customers and fellow local businesses to be on the lookout for fake $100 bills being passed in the area. We recently had an incident at St. Johnsbury Country Store where one was used.
Unfortunately, while we usually mark all bills, sometimes things get missed. We encourage everyone to double-check cash transactions, especially larger bills, to help prevent these scams.
Additionally, to this individual you have been trespassed from St. Johnsbury Country Store and 98 Mill due to this fraudulent activity. Other area businesses should be aware and remain vigilant.
Stay alert, and let’s work together to protect our community! 🚨

🚨 Attention local businesses and community members 🚨
We had an interesting (and disappointing) situation at our store yesterday involving a person named Heather Lawson. She came in asking for a job application, spent some time picking out a few pairs of Darn Tough socks, and then proceeded to steal them. 🤦♂️
Just a reminder: stealing is definitely not the way to get hired. In fact, it’s the best way to get yourself trespassed from the property — which is exactly what we’ve done.
To our fellow area businesses and employees: keep an eye out for this class act. It’s always important to stay vigilant and look out for one another.
Thanks to everyone who’s always supporting our local community and business! Let’s keep it positive and help each other succeed. 🙏
