Update Treehouse Foods Frozen Waffles and Pancakes Recall – additional products added

TreeHouse Foods Announces Expansion of Voluntary Recall to Include All Waffle and Pancake Products Due to the Potential for Listeria monocytogenes Contamination

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE: THS) is expanding its voluntary recall to include all products manufactured at one facility and still within their shelf-life. The recall is expanded to include frozen toaster waffle, Belgian waffle and pancake products, due to the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenesis an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria monocytogenesinfection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

Recalled products were distributed throughout all states and provinces within the United States and Canada and packed in various formats under the brand names listed below. Consumers and retailers can identify the UPC on the back of the carton, and the Lot Code and Best By Date for these products (ranging from 12 to 18 months, depending on the product) on the end of the carton. The following products, which are sold through most retail stores, including but not limited to Albertson's, Aldi, Dollar General, Foodhold, HEB, Kroger, Publix, Target and Walmart, are included in this recall with Best By or Best if Used by Dates as indicated in the below table. Oct 19, 2024 ConAgra Foods - evol. brand Chicken containing frozen meals

BrucePac, one of Conagra Brands’ suppliers, produces ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry. On October 9, 2024, BrucePac, in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), initiated a product recall on select ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.

On October 15, 2024, USDA announced an expansion of the BrucePac recall. BrucePac subsequently notified Conagra that some of the product from the expanded recall was supplied to Conagra Brands. Upon investigating, Conagra has identified 21,502 cases of select EVOL Single-serve Meals and Burritos have been shipped to customers that were made with BrucePac product from its expanded recall. As such, Conagra Brands is conducting a voluntary recall of these cases of EVOL Single-serve Meals and Burritos as the product does not meet Conagra’s high-quality standards due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

The situation is limited to the impacted items and does not impact any other Conagra Brands products. There have been no reports of illness or injury due to the consumption of the products to date.

At Red’s, the health and safety of our consumers is of the utmost importance. On October 9, 2024, BrucePac, one of our chicken suppliers, initiated a recall of certain poultry products due to potential Listeria contamination. In response, we voluntarily recalled a limited amount of our products as a precautionary measure. On October 15, 2024, BrucePac expanded the scope of their recall and out of an abundance of caution, we have followed suit by recalling an additional number of our products. Although all our certificates of analysis have returned negative for Listeria, we advise consumers who purchased any potentially affected products to return them for a full refund.

Bellisio Foods is conducting a voluntary recall because the below products contain chicken that is part of the widespread BrucePac protein recall for potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Dole recently was notified by BrucePac, their supplier of ready-to-eat chicken, that some of the chicken used in certain salad bowls produced by Dole is part of a recall issued by BrucePac for possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

Out of an abundance of caution, Dole is recalling the following products from the market. No lots or products other than those listed are affected by this event. This precautionary recall notification is being issued due to the potential for presence of Listeria monocytogenes in chicken in certain ready-to-eat salad bowls after a recall issued by BrucePac, the chicken supplier.
