STAND (Sacramento Taking Action Against Ni****ne Dependence) is a project of Breathe California of the Sacramento Region (www.SacBreathe.org). STAND is dedicated to educating, empowering and organizing the Sacramento community to demand smoke-free policies where people live and learn. Currently STAND has two campaigns: 1) Smoke-Free Living, which assists the multifamily housing industry to add non

smoking rentals to their properties for renters wanting smoke-free apartments (www.SmokeFreeRentals.com); and 2) Smoke-Free Education, which works with community colleges and vocational institutions for smoke-free campuses (www.SacSTAND.org).
