Always one step ahead of the game! Welcome back KO “In Côt We Trust”. Malbec from the Loire Valley. Complex aromas of ripe blackberry and plum, black pepper, violet and earth. The palate is fresh and bright with cool acidity under dense stony black fruits, plum skin, menthol and stone that linger in the long finish. Organic. Unfined. Unfiltered. Very limited production so hurry in!

Back in stock! Cabernet Franc comes from 40 year-old vines on schist soil with clay and gravel. The soil brings a unique mineral character to the wine. Bone dry with zero residual sugar. Very elegant with fine tannins. An intense and fresh nose of cocoa, olives and black currant. Perfect for the Fall weather!

Il Palio Chianti Colli Senesi is fruit forward featuring a deep ruby color with violet hues. A fruity bouquet of berries and brushwood, beautifully integrated with light, pleasing spice. The wine does not undergo oak aging, and the bottle aging preserves its fresh expression.

Rock, paper, scissors by Anne Collard. An organic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Juicy and supple with fresh berries intertwined with subtle hints of herbs, lavender and a touch of white pepper. A perfect chilled red for these warm days and cool nights!

In anticipation of Hurricane DEBBIE DOWNER leaving our area tomorrow, we look forward to sipping some Sol y Mar from Wonderwerk. A lively natural wine crafted from Vermentino with a slightly fizzy profile and a very low ABV of 7.7%. Notes of pineapple, pomelo, cucumber and a touch of salt. 24 hours skin contact, unfined and unfiltered.

Las Jaras Superbloom defies categorization. Is it dark pink? Or is it light red? You know that moment right after sunset, before the stars are out in full - what the poets call the “violet hour”? That’s the moment to open this wine. The red grapes give this wine a spicy nose and plenty of texture. While the white grapes a beautiful salted watermelon and rhubarb plus a clean, mineral finish. One bottle clearly will not be enough!!

A one-of-a-kind premium wine cocktail and unlike any other wine out in the market. Low ABV at just 9% perfect for day drinking. Chill, pop and party!!

Summer is half way over and we’re a little late in the game but the 2024 Strawberry Rhubarb Gin from is here!! While similar to last year’s Summer Gin which leaned heavily into citrus, this year Jake and his team wanted to focus on two early Summer Catskill crops of strawberry and rhubarb. With those flavors forming the delicate sweet and tart foundation, he then layered pink peppercorn, cardamom, and hibiscus. Limited production and inventory so grab some soon before Summer slips by!

Method Vermouth started at the iconic Union Square Cafe in New York City where founder, Cory Fitzsimmons, served as Head Bartender. The restaurant has long been a celebrated institution known for showcasing local producers of all types, but despite exceptional breweries and distilleries being in abundance, there were no local vermouths that could serve their necessary role in popular classic cocktails.

Realizing the need for local, sustainable options for this necessary bar staple, Cory left the restaurant and began a three-year journey of development before launching Method in late 2020.

What came next was a rigorous process of blind tastings, first of individual botanical and tinctures, then of wines, trial recipes, and finally their application in cocktails.

Our community of bartenders and sommelier friends graciously served as test subjects as we tweaked and honed the specifics until Method was decidedly winning blind tastings against the popular, traditional brands. Method Vermouth is classic vermouth, just made closer to home.

The result is two traditionally styled vermouths inspired by those used by generations of drink makers.

The botanicals sourced for Method Sweet are the same you’d find in classic vermouths from Turin, Italy, and the wines and brandy we use share the lineage and characteristics of those beloved vermouths.

Drawing inspiration from both dry and blanc vermouths from France, Method Dry is a delicate balance of fruit, florals, and savory herbs with a pleasant bitterness that makes it versatile for use in cocktails, spritzes, or simply enjoyed on its own.

Wine time! Lapierre Raisins Gaulois Beaujolais is designed specifically for the purpose of drinking. Not tasting, not spitting but jolly carefree quaffing! This juicy red, loaded with bright, playful fruit, is low in alcohol and delightfully refreshing. It begs for a slight chill and to be served alongside charcuterie, cheeses, picnic fare or just about anything.

You can't go wrong with any of the award winning spirits they produce. Winter Wheat Whiskey, Straight Rye Whiskey, Bourbon or Vodka. Each spirit can be sipped and savoured on it's own or mixed into your favorite cocktails. We personally enjoyed a Manhattan recently with the Rye and it was fantastic! Cheers!
