King Ro Market Yup King Ro Market is located right in the center of Round Pond, Maine. It's a small but unique village, and King Ro Market is a reflection of that.

The people of Round Pond come to the store for groceries, lunches, gas, the daily news and more. A lot of the patrons are regulars, which means your lunch order is usually remembered and served to you by a friend. It's a convenient place to stop during a drive up the coast or on your drive home for any grocery needs. Smokey is the store cat, and he loves when people stop by just for coffee and a p

In the summer time, Round Pond doubles in size as people come to spend the summer by the ocean, visiting Anchor Inn Restaurant, Granite Hall store and taking in the popular Round Pond Fourth of July Parade. King Ro Market is the perfect place to grab what you need for a weekend at the cottage, or to grab a last minute hot dog while enjoying the parade. Every Monday at King Ro Market is Music Mondays. There are local musicians gathering every Monday, either outside the store or right in the bread aisle, and all are welcome to stop by, listen, and dance through the aisles (should you feel so inclined.)

There are good days ahead. It’s never too early to call the store and submit your name for this week’s Friday night dinner. If you’ve never had the pleasure of reserving one, simply call the store, tell us how many you’d like, and we write down your name and number. Come Friday you can pick up and pay for the deliciousness! It’s that simple. We set the price weekly, it ranges from 17-22 per person depending on the meal and week. Now, final question: do you see an AT-AT in the first photo? Amity couldn’t unsee it… (that’s the Star Wars “all terrain armored transport” walker, for reference).

It’s called “Cribbage and Cake” and we invite you to bring a cribbage board and cards, and we will provide the cake.
