Description..WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM WEDNESDAY TO 11 AM MST THURSDAY...

WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 14 inches.

WHERE...Flathead Valley, Mission Valley, Polson, and Flathead Lake.

WHEN...From 5 AM Wednesday to 11 AM MST Thursday.

IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing and drifting snow expected across northeast portions of the Flathead Valley Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
