I found this ringneck dove on the lawn of
my store, Fort Hill Liquor, at 1520 Hope Ave across from Mt Hope Diner. It’s very tame and let me pick it up and then perched on my finger. It has a white band with black lettering on it’s left leg that indicates it was born this year. Please share and if you have any info let me know, someone must be missing this little beauty! Shout out to Lisa Jacques at Park Ave Pets who hooked me up with a cage and food, there’s nothing like knowing the owner of a small business!

So happy and jealous that the Living Roots team get to live a normal life for a few months in Australia. Stop by and check out their wines!

Arrived safe in AUS! Highlights of quarantine here include a COVID test on arrival, police es**rt to a quarantine hotel, three meals delivered outside our room each day, daily calls from police to make sure we’re both still in the room [and from a nurse to make sure we’re feeling okay], a great view from our balcony where we get daily fresh air [game changer], and a cute little care package from our family. It’s really intense, but it obviously works. Australia’s been doing this for all international arrivals since late March 2020 and as we people watch from our balcony, it’s more or less life as normal out there! This is Day 5 — when we get out on Day 15, we can hug our family and friends, hit up our favorite bars, and go to the Fringe Festival here sans mask! […And make a lot of wine, since that’s why we’re here after all!]
