Our next event will be with **rs and feature the the new 2024 Amazon Basin and the all-new Thunder Smoke.

“Introduced in 2014, CAO Amazon Basin is defined by its Bragança to***co as part of the filler blend. Grown in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil, Bragança seedlings are planted a yard apart from one another, which results in smaller yields than are typical. After harvesting, the leaves are rolled by hand into dense logs called carottes which undergo a six-month fermentation. The carottes of to***co are then loaded onto a canoe and paddled out of the jungle down the Amazon River. From there, the to***co heads to the STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua, where CAO ci**rs are produced.

The rest of the cigar consists of a high-priming Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and filler from Colombia and the Dominican Republic. According to the company, the blend is medium-bodied.“

According to Altadis, its team of blenders, known as the “Grupo de Maestros,” had input on the project as well.

Espada by Montecristo Signature consists of a colorado claro wrapper grown in the region, along with binders and fillers from . The claro classification means that it’s lighter in color than the typical reddish-brown shade of normal colorado cover leaf. Made in one size called Valiente, Signature measures 6 inches by 55 ring gauge…” (via )

A new OpusX is premiering at a launch party in next month, and this one is made exclusively for retailers that carry products from the OpusX Society—an upscale lifestyle and accessories company featuring Fuente-branded products such as ashtrays, cutters and lighters. The Society was started by designer and longtime Fuente collaborator ..
.Officially called the Fuente Fuente OpusX Edición de la Sociedad, the new cigar is a unique blend with unique packaging and measures 6 1/4 inches by 49 ring gauge. The cigar has a suggested retail price of $90 per cigar, or $1,800 per 20-count box.

There’s no specific date as to when these ci**rs will start shipping to other retail members of the OpusX Society around the country (268 in total, according to Iriarte). Exact details of the blend have not been disclosed.

“I am not giving out details at the moment,” Fuente tells Cigar Aficionado. “I want people to taste it and not prejudge. I worked years on this blend. And yes, it is Fuente with the Fuente signature style but deep and earthy. This definitely and intentionally has a different tweak to the blend.”
