We are event ready. Join us tonight from 5-9pm for our @myfathercigars event. Plenty of cigars, specials, raffles, and gifts with purchase.

Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edición Doble Diamante the most super-premium Montecristo to date. Like its predecessors, the Montecristo Edicíon Doble Diamante is made in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez. And all the tobacco was grown on Fernandez’s farms in Nicaragua: La Lilia and San Lotano. Unlike its predecessors, which are regular-production cigars, this is a limited edition offered in one size, a Toro measuring 6 1/2 inches by 54 ring gauge. It comes packaged in 20-count boxes, and only 250 of them are being produced, for a total run of 5,000 cigars. Each box doubles as a humidor and is finished with a glossy piano finish. All the tobacco inside the new Doble Diamante has been aged a minimum of 10 years before it was rolled.

Some of the best cigars from Honduras. Aladino cigars are made in Honduras by the JRE Tobacco Farm, which is owned by the Eiroa family. The cigars are made with Corojo tobacco, which is grown in Honduras and blended to taste like Cuban cigars from the 1960s. The name Aladino comes from the name of the movie theater that was converted into the factory where the cigars are rolled. The cigars are a family project between Julio R. Eiroa, a veteran cigar maker, and his son, Justo.

Today we feature @romacrafttobac and they make cigars out of Nicaragua. Most of their cigars are under 16 and are a great value. With their extensive lineup of blends you should be able to find a cigar that is right for you. Stop in and let us help you find the perfect RoMa for you.

The History of Joseph’s

In 1900 Mrs. Mary Joseph, a widow with 5 children, arrived in Fort Bend County from Lebanon. Shortly after arriving, she started the original Joseph’s retail business. Mrs. Joseph began calling on families throughout the county by horse and buggy, and selling supplies and goods from her wagon. Although no longer a “door-to-door” business, the family operation has remained open and run by a member of the Joseph family for more than 100 years.

Mary Joseph was a determined woman. Back in the day, roads were rough, narrow, muddy and impassable on many rainy days. She often had to stay over with families she called on. Over the years Mrs. Joseph did well enough to build a small frame house at 708 Morton Street (this building no longer exists).

In 1919, the eldest of Mary Joseph's children, Emil, opened a mercantile store on Morton Street in downtown Richmond. This has been the location of the Joseph's business since. In 1927, a fire destroyed the adjacent building and caused the roof to collapse on the Joseph's building.

The building repair was completed in 1928, resulting in "E. Joseph 1928" on the front of the building. Emil Joseph sold — among other things in his store — coffee, ci**rs, guns and ammunition.
