Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers in a courteous manner when they enter the store.
• Assist customers in locating the items they need.
• Complete cash or credit transactions
• Maintain and manage the store premises neat and clean.
• Resolve and handle customer issues effectively.
• Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily.
• Handle merchandise in a store in a safe and secure manner.
• Perform clerical duties in a store department
• Assist and support stores management in running the store successfully.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Ability to spend an extended period working in a standing position
• Stellar customer service
• Punctuality and accountability when arriving at work and closing out cash registers nightly
• Attention to detail is essential for building and stocking displays to company standards
• Friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to work in a group and contribute to a smoothly flowing experience for all customers
• Ability to multitask and balance the needs of several customers at once is mandatory
• Basic math skills are needed to accurately close out transactions and provide change to customers
