Introducing Marvin Ruiz and Ruiz Ci**rs.

To all of our cherished customers for almost 50 years I would like to introduce Marvin Ruiz. Marvin has been serving Northern Nevada with exceptional ci**rs and cigar expertise for 15 years from his Cigar Shop in Sparks, Ruiz Ci**rs.

Now Marvin is opening a second location on South Virginia Street in the old Tinder Box Location. He has done a beautiful job for renovating the space and has spacious smoking lounge seating as well as cigar lockers. Ruiz Ci**rs Reno has a vast selection of Premium Ci**rs including their own line of Ruiz Ci**rs from their family farms in Nicaragua and plans to expand his Pipe and Pipe To***co selection over time.

After 48 years serving Northern Nevada’s Pipe and Cigar enthusiasts Tinder Box is closing its doors.

We are extremely grateful for all of you that have supported us through both bountiful and challenging times. We are sorry to go and will miss you all. We will be reducing prices through the end of March. You are invited to come in and take advantage of our closing sale, to stock up on your favorites.

Drew Estate Cigar Event – Friday, September 14th.

Joya de Nicaragua is now half a century old and to celebrate the landmark anniversary, the company is releasing a special cigar called Cinco Décadas. The new brand debuted at the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers trade show.
According to Joya, Cinco Décadas is a Nicaraguan puro rolled with some of the company’s best to***co leaves.
“This is, without a doubt, the most spectacular cigar to ever come out of Joya de Nicaragua,” said Juan Martínez, executive president of Joya de Nicaragua. “We are not disclosing the detailed blend, but I can tell you that it’s Nicaraguan to***cos all-around.”
Cinco Décadas will launch in two sizes: a 7 inch by 50 ring gauge Churchill called El General and a 6 by 54 double-tapered figurado called Diadema. Martínez says the company chose these vitolas because they were the most popular cigar sizes in the early years of the company.
