Congratulations to Dr. Matt Owens on receiving the 2023 COPIC Humanitarian Award for South Dakota presented in conjunction with South Dakota State Medical Association (SDSMA). Dr. Owens is a family physician practicing in Redfield and is passionate about addressing the emergency medical services crisis in the state. He has a deep commitment to train rural South Dakotans on how to respond if an emergency occurs. Dr. Owens has designated Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic Foundation in Redfield as the recipient of the $10,000 donation associated with the award in honor of this recognition.
