It's been a while since we had a date night. We visited one of my favorite Italian restaurants, Picolla Italia, in the Village District. We gave ourselves a toast. Drew enjoyed a Miller Lite while I sipped on a Limoncello Spritz. The spritz was delish! We shared the Antipasto Salad. I loved it because it had many different veggies like cauliflower, carrots, and celery. It was way big enough for us to share! The pizza was piping hot from the oven! Wouldn't you know it? I dropped the first piece on my shirt! 🤣 But I salvaged it. Love this pizza! It's nice to enjoy a pizza, not from a box! If you are in the Village District, give them a try!

While I'm excited about our future, the next two days are bittersweet. Twelve years of fabulousness come to a close. During the last days, I've heard heartwarming stories about how The Green Monkey made a difference in MonkeyFans' lives! But, MonkeyFans touched our lives! MonkeyFans made me a better person than 12 years ago. I'm trying to hold back the tears, but last night, when our Run Club presented this flag to us, I almost lost it! I love these boys and girls. They did so much to support us and keep our doors open! So, if you see tears in my eyes this weekend, it's allergies! Mind your own damn business! 🤣
