Did You Know? The third Saturday of January is Baltic Porter Day — or as it’s known in Poland, Święto Porteru Bałtyckiego!

This year marks the 10th edition, and we’re thrilled to be joining the celebration for the very first time!

Join us this Saturday at noon for an extra-special event featuring a visit from Peeter Keek, our favorite Estonian and co-founder of Põhjala Brewery (). We’ll be pouring two incredible beers on draft:

Baltic Porter Day 2025 - An Imperial Baltic Porter with Bison Grass – This year’s featured beer is cold-fermented over weeks with German lager yeast and infused with aromatic bison grass. Expect a rich, dark brown brew with notes of vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, herbal hints, and a warming finish of dark berries and spice.

Cocobänger Cellar Series – An Imperial Stout made with toasted coconut flakes and coffee, aged in freshly emptied American rye whiskey barrels.

Peeter will be celebrating Baltic Porter Day across the Carolinas, so don’t miss your chance to meet him and enjoy these rare pours.

Today! We’ve got $2 Tasty Dogs. At that price, how can you afford to *not* have one, or two. More importantly, tomorrow is the first Wiener Wednesday of the year! We’re bringing back one we haven’t seen in over a year now: “The S Thing” is a Sabrett Natural-Casing All-Beef Frankfurter sandwich w/ bacon onion jam and crispy jalapeños, and it’s deeeeeeelicious. The deal gets better… at 5pm, Tasty Alumni and current Tastoid, Kevin Barringer, will be here sampling out seltzers. Whether you’re doing dry January(😤) or not, they belong in your fridge!
