Jack Daniel’s Coy Hill series is an ultra-limited collection of single barrels sourced from the top floors of their historic rick houses in the Coy Hill area of Lynchburg, Tennessee. These barrels experience extreme aging conditions due to fluctuating temperatures, resulting in concentrated, high-proof whiskey with unparalleled depth of flavor.

Our pick comes from Barrel House 1-13 top floor, a legendary structure on Coy Hill that yields some of the most sought-after whiskey in Jack Daniel’s history. Our barrel spent its entire life on the top floor of Barrel House 1-13, aging for just over 9 years in the intense heat and humidity of Coy Hill.

The result? A rye whiskey bursting with bold character, deep oak, rich spice, and a finish that’s as powerful as it is smooth. Bottled at barrel proof, this is Jack Daniel’s at its purest, crafted for those who appreciate whiskey with serious personality. When we began the tasting process, one sample blew us away, it was an easy unanimous decision. Later, we discovered that our pick tested at an impressive 137.1 proof, making it one of the boldest Coy Hill releases to date.
