Perfect for the crisp, fall weather, this newest release from Virginia Distillery Company โ€“ the most Awarded American Single Malt Distillery, is sure to please whether enjoyed outside by the fire or inside with friends.

Available for purchase at Ayra's Liquor 4700 Washington Ave and Ayra's Liquor & Cigar, Oak Creek starting at 1 PM on October 19, 2024, priced at $48.99.

Rich Cask Pedigree:

This whiskey is a master class on finishing, with each stop imparting exceptionally unique, rich and bold flavors on the finished whisky. The Goose Island barrel started its life aging Buffalo Trace Bourbon. It was then shipped to Chicago and filled with Goose Islandโ€™s award-winning Bourbon County Stout and aged it until bottling. That barrel was shipped to VDC on August 18, 2023. The American Single Malt whisky was first aged five years in a Woodford Reserve barrel before being transferred to the Goose Island barrel for finishing. The whiskey finished for 10 months in the Goose Island casks (one of the longer finishes for the limited number of single barrels set aside) before being bottled.

Flavor Profile:

Dark chocolate and molasses aromas build on the palate with flavors of nutmeg and toasted hazelnuts.

This whisky is bold, yet complex, with significant stout influence that complements the whiskey without overpowering it. Bottled-in-Bond, coming in at 100pf, the finish is long and strong.
