Beginning of the year, and we’re gonna focus on some affordable wine options for a bit. First up, cru Beaujolais and red Burgundy.

2021 Domaine Chignard Julienas. We rarely see this lesser known cru, one of 10 in Beaujolais, but we’re loving it for its approachable mid-weight, bursting red berries, subtle orange zest, and great acidity. A steal at $18.99.

Quality red burgundy under $25 is very hard to find these days. We’re thrilled for the return of our favorite every day Bourgogne Rouge from Thevenet. 2022 “Les Clos” is just as good as we remember, and remains just $21.99 a bottle. Laced with luscious dark fruit, soft tannins, and a touch of earthiness, this is wildly drinkable.

Old Fashioned, but make it winter. Love the depth and complexity port and allspice dram add to this Winter Old Fashioned.

To make, simply combine in a glass with ice

2 ounces rye
1.5 ounces port
1 teaspoon allspice dram

Stir ingredients, garnish with orange twist and a few shakes orange bitters.

New Riff Single Barrel bourbon has finally landed. Aged 4 years and 4 months at their distillery in Kentucky, this is an absolute pleasure bomb. Bottled at 110.6 proof it’s giving notes of cocoa, brown sugar, rich spice and candied fruit. A steal at $54.99, and as always 4 points for our bourbon club members. Cheers 🥃

On this sunny tequila Tuesday we’re pumped to announce we’re finally stocked, and with ample supply, of this here little brand. is new to Massachusetts, but has been produced at the same distillery in El Arenal Mexico by the Rosales family for over 100 years. Their blanco, and blanco tahona, are some of the best expressions of additive free tequila you’ll find out there. Cheers, y’all.
