Bottle Signing Event with Horse Soldier founder Will Summers! Come hear the incredible story of these American Heroes (and of course taste through their incredible lineup of American made bourbons)

Will Summers is a retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer and served as a member of the 82nd Air Borne Division and Special Forces. Will was a member of the ODA 595 Special Forces team that was the first to land in Afghanistan in response to the attacks on our country on 9/11. Their historic and unconventional warfare experience earned them the moniker, “The Horse Soldiers”, and has been brought to life in the Hollywood film, “12 Strong”, as well in other numerous leading books and documentaries.

Event is for, but not limited to: Police, Veterans, and First Responders - come on by and bring a friend!

Just arrived!

Garrison Brother’s Single Barrel Select!

Coming in at 135.2 Proof, this bottle is full of sweet but hot Oaky deliciousness.

The Texas climate with its dramatically varying temperatures greatly accelerates the aging process, in order to manage this Garrison uses “Quarter Barrels” to age their whiskey vs full size 53 gal American Oak bourbon barrels. This allows their Master Distiller to keep closer watch on each barrel, an expensive but thorough Quality Control process.

Our barrel in total yielded only 42 bottles. A great Christmas present for any Texas Whiskey lover!

Our Smoke Wagon Single Barrel Select has entered the building. 6 Years old, 113 proof, 51% Rye.

It’s great to see back to selling barrels. It’s been several years since they allowed Private Barrels sold and we are grateful to be the FIRST in DFW to have been selected to pick one.

Note: Full barrel is being shared with , so about half is available for our customers. First come first serve.

Our Maker’s Mark private select has arrived. In collaboration with we put together a beautiful one off Maker’s Barrel Bottled at cask strength (109.8 proof).

Sticker a riff on the man himself ‘s early 90’s Hip Hop group “Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch”.

Each bottle purchased is one raffle ticket for the custom Maker’s Mark cooler, drawing for the giveaway on Cinco de Mayo!

Holiday Barrel Alert!

From , a 14 year Canadian Rye bottled at 134.7 proof 👀

Originally sourced from Alberta Distilling Co., where Whistlepig Rye is distilled, present are heavy finishing notes of honey and maple syrup with a fairly mellow rye spice. Perfect to warm you up as the cold weather comes around.

From we did a spire select with Amburana wood.

Amburana is a Brazilian spice wood, often grated and made into spices, rapidly gaining popularity in the craft beer/spirits scene. Cinnamon, nutmeg immediately are the main notes (no additives) - tastes like Christmas in a bottle!

This 6 Year Bourbon out of Colorado by Laws Whiskey House came in at 125 proof and is delightful. The zero Rye mashbill (52% corn, 37% Malted Barley, 11% wheat mashbill) makes for a super unique nose and finish. Grainy and delicious, a perfect winter sipper!

, recently named Independent Bottler of the Year by ASCOT, is hot and new to the bourbon scene.

Our barrel, “The Reliable Doctor” is a 6-year straight Bourbon Whiskey clocking in at 111.5 proof. 70% corn, 26% rye, 4% malted barley.

New Arrival! Jack Daniel’s Bonded

During the 1800’s in America whiskey was sold by the barrel, not the bottle, with minimal regulation. Kentucky distillers were undercut by fraudulent sellers from areas like Chicago and New York who were blending properly aged bourbons with neutral spirits (think vodka) to stretch the quantity, commonly adding artificial flavors and additives to recreate the taste.

Amid pressure from loved and respected distilleries such as Buffalo Trace and Maker’s Mark, the federal government stepped in. “Bottled-in-bond” became one of the first American consumer protection laws.

Distilleries began housing and aging their barrels in government bonded warehouses. If a bourbon was aged in a bonded warehouse (for a minimum of four years) and bottled at exactly 100 proof it could receive a government bonded stamp – essentially a certificate of authenticity.

Jack Daniel’s Bottled in Bond has previously been available internationally, and now made its way to the states!

Our Barrel Bourbon Co. store pick is available!

We named this 9.5 year Single Barrel the “Prosper High-Ryes” (which at this rate may be an actually possibility 😅) due to its 35% rye content. Bottled at cask strength - sweet on the nose, with a long and complex finish.

137 bottles total, we expect them to go quick!

A marriage of modern technology and blending to create an entirely new set of flavor profiles. The first build in this series brings together our signature four-grain bill with two different types of French Oak Staves. In collaboration with Radoux of France, we carefully hand-selected each Stave using their state-of-the-art OakScan process to construct a truly memorable flavor profile.

Less than 1800 bottles total in the DFW Metroplex, two dozen ended up at Jerry’s Liquor. On the shelf now - get it while you can.
