A place where you can find gifts for those you love. We offer popular items, as well as vintage. And thus NatureEsacpe Photography was born.

In 2011, when we were pregnant with our first child, we decided that there had to be more to live than working at jobs that we had no passion for. My husband worked retail, stocking shelves at night, and I was a housekeeper. That is when we decided to entertain the idea to start our own at home business. We did a lot of nature photos and sold them at crafting events. Soon after, we started doing E

ndurance Rides for local horse owners. It took our dream of owning our own business to a whole new level. Selling things out of the house was an exciting concept. December of 2014, we came up with the concept of having a retail online business for unique items not found at most events. We started out with Furry Bones products and worked our way up from there. At the time, we were working full time with a newborn and toddler in the house. On the weekends, we did photo events and were just starting out with a retail business. Thus the company name “Out of Steam” came about. Now we carry Sci-fi/Geek type items along with a new line of Steampunk products. All Steampunk products are handmade so they are being added at a slower pace.

Oh Ross.... I know you are old but we are not done here yet. We have been trying to limp him through this season just so we can retire him next year but he's digging in his heels. I tried printing a new part but it's material I'm not use to using so it's not working out. I finally got an idea to search on Etsy for the part and I found it! $12 later and I have a brand new part on the way. If you know how many times we've glued it back together... it's shameful.

Dear neighbors,

We'd like to extend our sincerest apologies for the unexpected "zombie pants debacle" in our yard this morning. Apparently, our zombie thought it would be hilarious to shuffle around without his pants, giving the neighborhood a rather... unusual wake-up call.

Rest assured, we’ve had a serious talk with him about the importance of keeping his undead wardrobe intact and wearing pants like a respectable zombie in public. We’ve also kindly reminded him that even the undead need to follow basic dress codes.

Please accept our apologies, and know that the next time you spot him, he’ll be much more appropriately dressed. Thanks for your understanding!

Hey everyone,
I was really hoping not to have to share this, but I need to address my current workload with custom orders. I’ve been getting overloaded with requests and spending a lot of time printing and sourcing files. Unfortunately, after completing orders, I’ve been reaching out but often don’t hear back, which is becoming challenging.
To manage this better, I will no longer be holding custom orders for more than 24 hours. If I have something printed for you, please arrange to pick it up by October 5th, or it will be returned to the sales table.
Moving forward, I will be charging for custom orders upfront and implementing a delivery/shipping fee. Once your item is complete, I’ll give you a couple of days to pick it up and refund that additional fee. If it’s not picked up, I’ll ship it to your address.
I truly enjoy working on custom orders and love the unique ideas they bring, so I hope these changes will help us continue this process smoothly. Thank you for your understanding and support!

And there it is! I just got confirmation on our final show for the 2024 Holiday Season! We were accepted, as of 2 minutes ago, to Old Fashion Christmas. We are ending our year really strong with some big shows.

We will probably not have green glow items this fall 😔 I put in an order for green glow filament.. it finally got here. This is what I got. I doubt the company will refund me and it was spendy, so we probably won't replace it.

Yesterday was our last summer show. I'm not sure how I feel. Part of me feels like we've been working for a solid year.. the other part feels like we haven't even started our show season for the year. I sat down to check the status of my calendar and things are booking up fast. That's a good thing. I just can't believe we are already into our fall shows. We took today to get some of our winter projects tackled. Our past businesses have been shoved into boxes littering the garage. It's now all gone. Either put up for auction or stored away for a new life with our new business direction. It feels good to have it done early. I have big plans for the business this winter. Now we have 2 weeks before our next show. Here's a sneak peek at where you can find us in September...

Today nothing has gone as planned... trying to get stuff for the show tonight yet ended bringing Teagan to urgent care. Her ankle is bruised and swollen. She can't walk on it and the pains getting worse. At least I can make her laugh a little bit. Couldn't find a hair tie and my hair frizzed. So used a charging cord
