Drink of the week: Side Car!

2oz Cognac
1oz Lemon Juice
1oz Cointreau
Orange twist for garnish

Pour all ingredients over ice and shake. Strain into a chilled glass and enjoy!

Drink of the week: Dirty Banana

2oz Rum
1oz Banana Liqueur
1oz Coffee Liqueur
2oz half and half
1 banana cut into chunks
Garnish with banana slice with peel on.

Pour all ingredients into a blender with 6oz of ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass, garnish and enjoy!!

We got a new rum in today!! Here is a little information about the product.

Ron Zacapa 23

The balance of delicate and unique flavors of Zacapa No. 23 is derived from a blend of aged rums between 6 and 23 years old, originating from the “sistema solera” aging process. It is aged in selected barrels that previously aged robust American Whiskey, delicate sherries and fine Pedro Ximenez wines, creating a smooth and balanced rum.
Some tasting notes: when you smell the rum you’ll get soft and sweet notes of Caramel, vanilla, cacao and butterscotch. Continued by sherries notes of caramelized roasted Brazil nuts and toasted hazelnut, rounded out by toffee , banana and dried pineapple. At first you will taste dried fruit and apricot, building to a savory oak, nutmeg, leather with notes of coffee and vanilla, balanced with a spiced touch of cinnamon and ginger. And finishes with honeyed butterscotch, spiced oak and dried fruit.
Zacapa rum has a really cool story of their creation. Zacapa rum was created in 1976 to commemorate the 100th anniversary celebration of foundation of the city of Zacapa . Zacapa is a town in Guatemala located approximately 112km from Guatemala City. The name Zacapa derives from Nahuatl (Aztec) language, and it means “on the river of grass”. The Orchestrator behind Zacapa’s delicious taste is Lorena Vasquez, one of the few female master blenders in the world of spirits.

2 tsp. Maraschino Liqueur
1 dash of lemon juice
Garnish with a lemon wheel and a maraschino cherry

1oz Irish whiskey
2 tsp. Lemon juice
2tsp. Simple syrup
1/2 egg white

Pour all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice and strain. Pour into a glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
