Craving an Old Fashioned like no other? At Up North Distillery, we’re mixing it up with a menu of uniquely crafted Old Fashioneds that highlight our signature spirits. From classic to creatively reimagined, there’s a perfect mix for every palate. Visit the distillery for a tour and tasting or pick up a bottle to make our favorite smoked Old Fashioned at home. Join us at the distillery and discover why our Old Fashioneds are the talk of the town. Our Signature Smoked Maple Old Fashioned 🥃 • 2 ounces of North Idaho Single Malt Whiskey • 1/2 ounce of Maple Syrup • 3 dashes of orange bitters Method: Smoke an Old Fashioned glass while building your cocktail. Add all liquid ingredients to a mixing glass with cubed ice and stir well. Strain into the smoked glass over a king cube and garnish with an orange peel. Cocktail-ready maple syrup: Add one part pure maple syrup to one part warm water and stir well until the maple syrup is dissolved. Store in a container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Up North Distillery brought the true spirit of Northern Idaho to the Bee’s Knees Whiskey Bar with an unforgettable tasting during the 2024 Idaho Governor’s Cup. And as the perfect finishing touch, we flew in the legendary Sailor Guevara, 2020 Icon of Whiskey, and ADI's Top Spirit Influencer 2024 to host this incredible experience.
